My Bio
My name is Gareth and I can best be described as a keen line artist. Yeah I'd love to be an all-singing, all-dancing digital artist but I don't really have the time for that so I stick to doing what I do best which is pencilling and inking.
I am very interested in the world of The Transformers and you will see that the majority of my work revolves around that subject. On occasion you may see work relating to other properties but in general it'll mostly feature those giant robots in disguise.

So last weekend I had the pleasure of experiencing my first con where I did sketches for members of the public. While not a comic con in the strictest sense I did get to draw a wide range of characters and everyone seemed happy.

Just signed up for a pro DA account so I could change my username. Now I have consistency across my website and DA account. Brand consistency FTW!
FYI I've decided to go with GDP Watson instead of Gareth Watson as 'GDP' has a nice ring to it, it;s simple, easy to remember and separates me from other Gareth Watsons (I have clones and they get up to all sorts of hi jinx that I want to be no part of). GDP stands for Gareth David Peter. David Peter are my middle names (taken from my two granda's - god bless their souls).

Some of you know that I am a web designer by day and I just want to let those folks know that I did not code this website. I merely took a free WordPress theme and tweaked it for my own needs. If I'd coded this myself I'd have got caught up in the details and I'd never be done!
Am still toying with the idea of starting a Tumblr account.
